Hey my name is sunflower 👋🏽 nice to meet you and thanks for checking my site out. I grew up in a military family and I love seafood 🐠I'm a fine artist, my designs are inspired from video games I played as a kid. I'm part of a local artist collective, Fire House Nacogdoches and I have a bachelor's of social work from stephen f. austin state universityI enjoy riding my electric bike around town, drinking coconut water and going to community events. artwork mission statementI'm an artist first, social worker second 🥝 I make my art to represent styles I fall in love with, I study art history to understand the kinds of lives people similar to me have lived 🌻 I use a shiny mixed media approach with holographic vinyl & foil because I think it's cool for my artwork to interact with an audience 🐬 I draw suns because it's what I'm fixated on, inspired from video games I played as a kid 🔥 every day I get stimulated from everyday interactions with people + music 🌺 one hell of a ride

when I was 27, a portion of sales from these select prints during June through July 2022 were donated towards Black Rainbow, an Aboriginal & Torres Strait LGBTIQA+SB organisation that pursues the positive health of its community through their "Contagion of Love" projects.
QUEEROBOREE
Black Rainbow presents Queeroboree – a bi-monthly webinar series with First Nation LGBTIQA+SB guests talking about the First Nation LGBTIQA+SB work they are doing. In partnership with the Mental Health Professional Network, these will be free to attend.

how you can apply a decal ☺︎
1 ● clean/dry the surface that you’re applying the decal to.
2 ● peel decal from vinyl backing, make sure that all parts of the design adhere to the transfer tape. do not place design/transfer tape anywhere other than where you want the design to be. transfer tape is very sticky; ensure decal is handled well before applying to the surface.
3 ● press decal/transfer tape onto surface; use a credit card/ID or squeegee to press out air bubbles.
4 ● once design is on the surface, slowly remove transfer tape at an angle or corner of the tape. if the decal begins to lift with tape, press down onto surface again until the design does not lift with tape.
5 ● if tiny bubbles are on design after application, use a small needle to poke a tiny hole in the bubble. Use a squeegee or credit card/ID to smooth out. most bubbles from my perspective are not noticeable.
