about myself
hey my name is sunflower 👋🏽 nice to meet you and thanks for checking my site out. i grew up in a military family and i love seafood 🐠a fine artist, my designs are inspired from video games i played as a kid. part of an artist collective, fire house nacogdoches and i have a bachelor's of social work from stephen f. austin state university. you can read my artist statement belowi enjoy riding my electric bike around town and drinking coconut water. i won a drunk spelling bee and i almost got killed by a cucumber"express in free-form, live in freestyle" - supercozi
artist mission statementi finally found it 🥝 these inspirations are the friends i know; the people that i love and feel safe with 🐬 these chances in life to be intimate and vulnerable with them 🦋 style comes from tropical visuals, i need to keep on replicating these visions i see 🌺 the vinyl, foil and acrylic mediums exist because i need my artworks to interact with you 🌻 media is another inspiration: music, film and images ☀️ these moments with people that love me, at 31 i see how you shaped me in the past five years 🔥 thank you for how beautiful it's been 💧

my first zine ☺︎
the night before vision box did 4/20 i decided to create a zine but i did not have much time to get it finished before the event. it was also right before my first concert in georgia + i got my lip pierced
i put together a bunch of pictures that i gathered in college; they're nice to look at sometimes

how you can apply a decal ☺︎
1 ● clean/dry the surface that you’re applying the decal to.
2 ● peel decal from vinyl backing, make sure that all parts of the design adhere to the transfer tape. do not place design/transfer tape anywhere other than where you want the design to be. transfer tape is very sticky; ensure decal is handled well before applying to the surface.
3 ● press decal/transfer tape onto surface; use a credit card/ID or squeegee to press out air bubbles.
4 ● once design is on the surface, slowly remove transfer tape at an angle or corner of the tape. if the decal begins to lift with tape, press down onto surface again until the design does not lift with tape.
5 ● if tiny bubbles are on design after application, use a small needle to poke a tiny hole in the bubble. Use a squeegee or credit card/ID to smooth out. most bubbles from my perspective are not noticeable.
